Lake Legal has once again retained its Tier 1 ranking in the latest edition of the legal directory, the Legal 500. The directory highlights expertise across different practice areas and the firm has now held its high ranking in Tier 1 for several years. In addition, the firm has also received the client satisfaction accolade, which is awarded for outstanding client service.
The commentary refers to Lake Legal as being ‘a leading name in the Leeds legal community and further afield’. It goes on to state that ‘the team at Lake Legal has a stand out reputation for being one of the best niche family firms, particularly in the HNW and Ultra HNW space’. The firm is particularly noted for its financial work with medium to high-net-worth individuals. We are also praised for the team’s child related work with niche experience pertaining to matters involving autistic children.
In addition to the team rankings, three members of the team have also been singled out. Arbitration partner, Lyn Ayrton, was one of three individuals listed in the Hall of Fame which highlights lawyers at the very top of their profession. To be eligible for the Hall of Fame, lawyers must be widely known and respected by peers and clients for their longstanding involvement in market-leading work. The testimonials reference Lyn’s arbitration practice with her significant experience pertaining to divorce and separation.
Managing Partner, Claire Glaister, was one of ten individuals listed in the ‘Leading Partner’ category which highlights the strongest partners in their field, leading on market-leading deals and endorsed by peers and clients alike. Claire is praised as having ‘exceptional legal knowledge and ability and is a first round pick that would improve any legal team’.
Newly promoted Hollie Burnett has also been ranked for the first time and is one of four individuals listed in the ‘Leading Associate’ category which recognises leading associates with regular involvement in their team’s key work and recognition from peers or clients as being ones to watch. She is commended as being ‘hardworking, charming and clever with excellent judgment and fears no one’. Testimonials go on to say that she is ‘a star of the North’ and has a ‘very bright future ahead of her as she is great with clients and pragmatic with her advice’.
