Giving Back To Our Community

We strive to ‘do our bit’ to support the local community. We are passionate that the firm should ‘give something back’ where and when it can.
Here are some of the things we are currently involved in:

Leeds Community Foundation

The firm is a member of Leeds Community Foundation’s 100 club. The Foundation distributes vital grants and gives trusted advice to Community Organisations across Leeds and Bradford to influence positive change. Being a member enables individual and corporate supporters to make a huge difference to local communities and means that the Foundation can deliver grants and provide trusted expertise into Community Organisations, creating meaningful social impact for thousands of local people each year. This opens up vulnerable and often marginalised communities to a wealth of opportunities including skills, education, culture and employment.

The 100 Club is unique in the city; a special patronage scheme whose members are also ambassadors helping to spread the word about the Foundation.

More information about Leeds Community Foundation can be found at https://www.leedscf.org.uk/.

Pannal Cricket Club

The firm is a proud sponsor of Pannal Cricket Club. Pannal CC have been playing cricket in and around the village since 1874. The club has four senior teams and the second largest junior section in North Yorkshire, with teams from under 7s to under 18s. They also have mens and ladies teams, with the first team playing in the York League and the seconds, thirds and evening teams playing in the Nidderdale League.

Supporting the club was an easy decision for the firm as we have a long standing commitment to community sport having previously supported Thackley AFC Ladies Team last season.

Moor Allerton Bowling Club

The firm has supported Moor Allerton Bowling Club for numerous years and hosts an annual bowling evening there every June. The club is a friendly and lively club with a wide range of activities including league bowling, friendly matches, club competitions and social bowls. The club has proved to be a lifeline for the elderly local community.
