Lake Legal has once again retained its top tier ranking in the latest edition of the legal directory, The Legal 500.  The directory highlights expertise across different practice areas.

One commentator described the firm as ‘a niche practice with a superb blend of legal knowledge, true client care and pragmatism.’ The team is also described as being ‘the poster child for a boutique firm specialising in financial remedy. There is not a weak link in the team, and clients can be reassured that their case will be handled with care and expertise from start to finish.’

In addition to the team rankings, three members of the team were also singled out. Lyn Ayrton was one of three individuals listed in the ‘Hall of Fame’ which highlights individuals who have received constant praise from their clients for continued excellence. To be eligible for the Hall of Fame, lawyers must be widely regarded as being at the very top of the profession, and to have been consistently ranked as leading individuals by The Legal 500 for a number of years (at least eight of the last ten years in the UK).

Lyn is described as ‘one of the top two practitioners in the North of England. Immense wealth of experience.’ Another commentator goes on to say that Lyn ‘remains gold standard. She brings judgment, maturity and experience to a case and strives for the best result for her clients, but never loses sight of the costs and the risks and gives realistic advice.’

Claire Glaister was one of six individuals listed in the ‘Next Generation Partners’ category which highlights lawyers who have received significant recognition from clients and peers in the market, and recent lead roles on multiple matters.

Hollie Burnett is also singled out as another key lawyers besides Lyn Ayrton and Claire Glaister and received the following testimonial ‘Hollie was an incredible help to me during a very stressful situation. She took the time to listen to me and communicate with me in a way that made me feel comfortable, even when I was trying to convey heavily detailed information.’
